LEAD Consortium

The Consortium for Leadership and Excellence in Academics and Diversity (LEAD Consortium) is comprised of faculty, administrators, program directors and administrators of undergraduate and graduate programs at institutions with student training and professional development programs funded by NIGMS (PREP, BRIDGES, MARC, RISE, IMSD, T32) and NSF.  The consortium members share common concerns for challenges that plague programs across the nation.  LEAD meets biannually to develop institutional collaborations for student placement—both summer and doctoral study.  Discussions of the interventions literature, developmental activities, and other high impact practices demonstrated by participating LEAD institutions are also facilitated.
